Ornithologische studies van een witgepluimde miervogel Pithys albifrons. Hierboven, in vlucht, een roodgekuifde coquette Lophornis delattrei. Plaat 344 uit hoofdstuk 134 van Gleanings of natural history, met figuren van viervoeters, vogels, insecten, planten, &c..., door George Edwards, deel 3 (Londen, voor de auteur, 1764). De plaat is voorzien van het opschrift: "The White faced Manakin, and the Ruby crested Humming Bird, boath from the West Indies, drawn from Life of their natural bigness, by G.Edwards. Feb 24 1761."
